Amy Booth exemplifies equity and leadership in stroke care. She led the effort for Our Lady of the Lake Health to secure the Baton Rouge region's first and only Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence designation in 2024.
As leader, Amy ensures high-level care for diverse populations while addressing barriers to access. Her innovative approach centers on inclusivity and tailored education for diverse populations to transform stroke care. Amy developed multilingual resources, launched a community stroke support group and conducted targeted outreach to schools, EMS and caregivers. Her unwavering dedication to equity, inclusivity and stroke care are inspirational.
