One of the hardest parts of stroke often begins after the hospital: navigating recovery, therapy access and daily life with limited guidance and coverage. The Stroke Foundation is closing that gap nationwide.
Its Stroke Survivor Fund has awarded over $100,000 in therapy grants to help survivors continue rehabilitation when finances become a barrier. Mental-health partnerships, bilingual resources and care navigation offer practical support. Through plain-language blogs, newsletters, and be fast education, the Foundation turns knowledge into action across the U.S. At events and conferences, it lifts survivor and caregiver voices and calls for recovery that is equitable and continuous.
