The Aphasia Support Group led by a St. Mary's clinician, meets monthly to share information on the effects of aphasia. The Group is designed to serve stroke survivors and individuals with aphasia. Aphasia is the loss or reduction of the ability to speak, read write, understand or calculate.


These sessions provide a supportive setting where aphasic patients and their families may learn more about aphasia and interact with s who are in a similar situation.
