Agenda

Stroke Survivors and Caregivers meet together for the first 30 minutes, then the Survivors and Caregivers meet separately.  Other support group activities include (but not limited to) bowling, archery, horse therapy and day retreats.

Notes

The support group has been in existence for more than 12 years.  The group is facilitated by nurses with expertise in understanding the needs of stroke survivors and caregivers who are living with stroke and in connecting them to appropriate resources.  The Stroke Resource Center of Southern Arizona is a non-profit organization who partners with Tucson Medical Center (TMC) to provide the monthly support group.
