This group is offered to caregivers of stroke survivors after loved ones have been discharged from the hospital. Our purpose is to have an open discussion among a physical therapist and stroke caregivers with the goal of providing strategies for navigating issues occurring at home after a loved one has had a stroke. Guest speakers have included a physician, neuropsychologist, Aphasia center representatives, and other clinicians who specialize in stroke rehab and can provide insight for caregivers.
