Agenda
A typical meeting starts with everyone coming in, grabbing a snack and visiting with each for 10 to 15 minutes. The guest speaker is then introduced and provides a 20 to 30 minute talk on the topic for that month. We then spend the last 15 to 20 minutes asking questions, discussing topics, and or discussing whatever is on our minds.
Notes
This group is a nice mixture of ages and stroke survivors and caregivers. It is very informal and new people are welcomed warmly. A snack is always provided and is typically diabetic friendly. Anyone who wants to learn more about health topics is welcome.
