Aphasia Communication Groups are designed to give people with aphasia an opportunity to enhance their support network by making new social connections, practice and improve language communication skills and build confidence and self-esteem.
Notes
Aphasia Communication Groups are offered at seven different locations in New Jersey. Pre-registration is required before attending sessions. Groups meet twice a month on varying days and at varying times, depending on location. Call beforehand to confirm days and times specific to a certain location. Communication groups are facilitated by speech language pathologists. Locations are handicap-accessible. Nominal charges may apply, depending on location.
