Notes
I started this group because my husband Dave had a SAH and stroke August 2015. He almost left us many times during his 7 week hospitalization. His largest deficits are aphasia and cognitive. This has been his biggest hurdle for his recovery. I have owned and operated a Caregiving Service for the last 12 years and have a background as a nurse, nursing assistant and a caregiver. I have a large network of professionals in my area who are affiliated with hospitals, long term care facilities, assisted livings, the local Chamber of Commerce, and various networking groups, so we are hoping to help many stroke survivors with this group.
