What:

The Suncoast Cardiovascular Research and Education Foundation, founded by Helen Harper Brown, would like to invite you to submit any grant proposals for projects that meet the funding criteria of the Foundation.

The Foundation is a perpetual charitable trust created to promote the growth of cardiovascular research and education in Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. It is administered by an Advisory Committee, which is composed of representatives from the American Heart Association, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, St. Anthony's Hospital, Manatee Hospital, All Children's Hospital and Morton Plant Mease Health Care.

The foundation will accept proposals that relate to cardiovascular research and education designed to prevent premature death or disability caused by diseases of the heart, blood vessels or lymph vessels. Research projects or programs must be conducted in Pinellas, Manatee, or Sarasota Counties. All program and research applications will be reviewed by the Foundation Advisory Committee for final decisions. Applications will be accepted until April 5, 2024, for funding during the 2024 year.
