Agenda

STROKE AND BRAIN INJURY SUPPORT GROUP A peer support group for survivors, family,   and caregivers of Stroke or Brain Injury. Date: Meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month Time: 2:00 to 3:00 PM Location: Board Conference Room at Methodist Hospital Stroke survivors and their loved ones need a Support Group where they can learn more about Stroke and Brain Injury, exchange experiences and inspire each other to move forward after their Stroke and/or Brain Injury. Support Groups often are the key to uncovering hidden strengths within many of the survivors and caregivers finding the warm acceptance and emotional support needed after a stroke. Family and friends provide important support and care, yet a support group can also play a very important role. Through new contacts in the group members develop mutually supportive relationships key to their efforts to move forward physically and emotionally. Remarkable things have happened in and through meetings and the close supportive attitudes and relationships developed are able to blossom. If you are a survivor, caregiver, family member or friend of one, please consider contacting us at one of the numbers given or just join us in one of the meetings to experience the benefits of the group. Looking forward to seeing and meeting you at the next meeting! For more information contact Alisa Rock, ACNP-BC, DNP, Dir.
