This program addresses the impacts of the 2018 updates to stroke guidelines on the stroke care team in the hospital setting, evaluation of patients for endovascular treatment, and post-thrombectomy management in the hospital.
Through this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the impact of key changes in the guidelines on hospital protocols and personnel
- Evaluate techniques and devices for rapid recanalization
- Discuss effective post-thrombectomy management
Enhancing Clinical Outcomes with Hospital-Based Protocol for Thrombectomy is for healthcare professionals in neurology and emergency medicine. This activity is also appropriate for other healthcare professionals who care for stroke patients and may have the opportunity to educate peers within their facilities.
