Agenda

We host Aphasia Conversation Groups where people with communication challenges build community while building language skills. Meetings are offered in-person in Eugene, Oregon.
Groups are intentionally kept small, with 2–4 participants who are thoughtfully paired based on their communication skills, strengths, and goals. This allows each participant to engage in meaningful conversations at a pace and level that feels supportive while providing opportunities to challenge and expand their communication abilities. Groups are facilitated by a speech-language pathologist and incorporate engaging, real-life conversations and activities designed to support language recovery while encouraging social connection, confidence, and enjoyment.

Notes

Participants must be screened by the speech pathologist to demonstrate candidacy in a group format and complete registration prior to participation.
