Beet, Pineapple, Avocado & OJ Smoothie

  • 1 1/3 cups diced, peeled beets
  • 1 1/3 cups diced pineapple
  • 1/2 cup freshly-squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water (cold)
  • 1/2 avocado (peeled, pitted)

  1. For smoothie: place all ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.
  2. For juice: pass beets and pineapple through a juicer. Place beet and pineapple juice in a blender with avocado and orange juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. Distribute evenly among 2 chilled glasses and serve immediately.
