I am … a Survivor.

I went out for St. Patrick’s day as normal 30 somethings are known to do. After a few drinks I started to feel very nauseous, I called my fiance and asked him to get me. That’s one of the last things I remember, I went to the restroom and passed out. My fiance burst in with a bouncer. They half carried me out of the bar and to the car. I went home and went to sleep. I woke up the next day and I couldn’t walk. I told my fiance to call 911. The paramedics arrived and assured me I was simply hungover and to force liquid and sleep it off. So I sat at home another day, unable to walk. I was sure I had a stroke so we called again this time I was rushed to the ER, I had a TIA. I would live. Recovery was hard. I was paralyzed on my left side. I had to relearn to talk walk and swallow. It’s been 7 months, it’s better but I’m not 100%
