We have exciting news to share!
As we look to the future, the NSA’s board of directors has decided that the best opportunity for continued success and growth is to fold our efforts into those of the American Stroke Association (ASA), a division of the American Heart Association (AHA). Our common goal remains—to reduce death and disability from stroke. By joining our efforts, our combined resources can work harder to reduce the toll that stroke takes on families, communities and our nation.
We thank you for your past support of the National Stroke Association’s Comeback Trail events. Our staff in the communities where Comeback Trail events are considering how to integrate the Comeback Trail with AHA and ASA events. We encourage you to continue to be involved in supporting our work to reduce death and disability from stroke. Here are some great ways to get engaged:
- Join a Heart and Stroke Walk near you.
- Ride the Revolution – get brain and heart healthy through the power of the bicycle.
- Start your own fundraiser to celebrate the physical, mental, and spiritual journey of stroke recovery.
