Living Faith World Ministries

Wellness and Joy will be partnering with groups of nurses in Daytona Beach to provide information about stroke prevention, diet change, signs and symptoms of stroke and other. Attendees will be able to take home free pamphlets and there will be free blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring. Come and support our community!

Way of Escape Ministries is recognizing May as National Stroke Awareness Month by providing its members at Bethany Baptist Church and the surrounding community with take home educational resources and a free seminar on stroke education.  All are welcome!!

The 2nd Annual Run For Robert 5K Run/Walk honors the late Robert Kovalsky and benefits the National Stroke Association.  My Father, Robert, suffered from the debilitating effects of a stroke.  However, he always considered himself a stroke survivor rather than a victim. Please join us to celebrate his life and raise money for the National Stroke Association.

The purpose of this event is to incorporate dancing/zumba and then luncheon to provide information about stroke. Attendees will take home information regarding blood pressure monitoring, nutrition and fitness.

Members of Way of Escape Ministries will be presenting materials and information to over 2,000 church and community members.  A presenter from a community hospital (Kennedy Hospital) will be giving a short seminar on preventing and managing strokes.

May is National Stroke Awareness Month. We will offer a free lecture by a stroke neurologist on stroke risks. Know how to prevent a stroke. Free health screenings. See you there!

Stroke Challenge is headed to Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, and you can be there with us when you join the AACR Rock ‘n Roll Philadelphia Stroke Challenge team.  This event is a half marathon and National Stroke Association is the official Transamerica Tomorrow Chaser charity partner.
