Pre-Hospital and Acute Stroke Programs

This online education course is ideal for stroke care providers committed to keeping their stroke knowledge and practice up to date. The completion of all 10 modules will result in the achievement of a minimum of eight contact hours. Learn more about the course and how to enroll.

Pilot program aimed to improve hospital processes, reduce time-to-treatment and improve patient outcomes for in-hospital stroke. Despite the availability of on-site hospital resources, reports showed that between 4 and 17% (31,000 to 134,000) of strokes each year occurred in patients who were already in the hospital for other reasons.
