Thank you for supporting my fund for the National Stroke Association! Every dollar counts and your financial support will go a long way in making a difference to those whose lives have been touched by stroke.

My family has been impacted by strokes and I have been witness to the struggles that the victims, caregivers and family members have to overcome.

Those experiences prompted me to make a change to lead a healthier, more active lifestyle and I am looking forward to training for and running the New York Marathon on Sunday, November 4, 2012.

I will run in honor of my Mother, my grandparents, and my Uncle Jerry Gomez, all of whom suffered strokes.
