Dr. Sara Palmer is a rehabilitation psychologist with experience in clinical work, research and writing on topics of stroke, caregiving and psychological issues related to disability. She is an assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins University, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Palmer is a contributing writer for StrokeSmart® magazine and co-author of the book, When Your Spouse Has a Stroke: Caring for Your Partner, Yourself and Your Relationship (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2011).
