Firstgiving is an online fundraising website where nonprofit groups can create a web-based hub for our online fundraising efforts. Our new Firstgiving webpage enables our supporters and friends to quickly and easily raise funds for National Stroke Association in a variety of ways. And, it’s free!

How Do I Participate?

1) Safely and securely donate online at www.firstgiving.com/nationalstrokeassociation.

2) Create personalized webpages to raise funds on behalf of National Stroke Association.

• A personalized webpage can feature photos, videos, a personal fundraising goal and a story. It’s a place to tell the world why you support fighting stroke.
• Set up a personalized page in memory of a loved one or to honor a personal occasion or event.
• Once you complete a personalized webpage, you email it to everyone you know asking for a donation. Friends and colleagues then respond to the personal appeal, make secure donations by credit card and leave personal messages on your webpage.

3) Participate in online fundraising events as we build the web page and community of supporters.

• As our community grows, we will hold special fundraising events that supporters can participate in as individuals or by setting up teams to compete for a fundraising goal.
• It's an opportunity for stroke support groups, local churches, hospitals and rehab facilities, or high school or college clubs to support stroke awareness.
