For the second year, runners will join the
Stroke Challenge team stopping
traffic in Manhattan, from Central Park through Times Square to the South
Street Seaport for 13.1-miles.

National Stroke Association’s team of cyclists
will participate in a 42-mile course through each of New York City’s five

Members of National Stroke Association’s
triathlon team will participate in a 1.5-km swim, a 40-km bike and a 10-km run

We will meet at Parking Field #6 at 9:30 and we will start the three-mile walk at 10:00.
Please make a tax-deductible donation of either $10.00 per child, $30.00 per adult or more
All contributions fund the National Stroke Association
Reason for Event- Each year, we raise money in honor of Diana, our mother and friends who have died from complications of a stroke or are stroke survivors.

Event Description: Join us and learn
about healthy habits and lifestyles. Learn how to prevent stroke, diabetes,
high blood pressure, and other common health problems. We will be providing
free health screenings.
Event Name: Living Well with a Chronic Condition
Event Sponsor: Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Human

Event Description: Living Well with Chronic Conditions is a six-week workshop that provides
tools for living a healthy life with chronic health conditions, including
diabetes, arthritis, asthma and heart disease. Through weekly sessions, the
workshop provides support for continuing normal daily activities and dealing
with the emotions that chronic conditions may bring about.
