Program Overview
The faculty provide an update on new key evidence and provide resources to help participants implement changes to acute stroke care practice and processes. Case-based studies are presented by faculty.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the incidence of ischemic stroke and the opportunity to maximize patient outcomes.
- Describe guidelines-based acute ischemic stroke treatment strategies.
- Identify clinically important recent advances in stroke management and apply the latest guidelines into clinical practice.
- Access enduring resources to assist clinicians to educate themselves and make modifications to current practice and/or process.
Recommended Audience
This program is designed for target neurologists, emergency room physicians and nurses, hospitalists, neuroscience nurses, and neuro-interventionalists.
