TeleStik® Portable Reachers

TeleStik® Portable Reachers are light, small and portable wheelchair or scooter accessories. The device lets you pick up anything from a piece of paper to a full bottle of water, cell phones and remote controls. It has a magnet that lets you pick up items such as pins or paper clips. Hooks help to pull clothing toward you or from the dryer or get things from under the bed.

There are no triggers or levers to squeeze, which helps stroke survivors with limited hand and shoulder strength or mobility. A strap (quad cuff) is available for TeleStik Model TS3040.

TeleStik is less than 8 inches long and extends up to 34 inches. Models range in weight from 2.3 ounces to 5.3 ounces.

Powered Transfer Seat

The Stow-Away  by Bruno Independent Living Aids is a powered transfer seat that can be mounted on the outside of most pickup trucks and higher SUVs. The tool helps stroke survivors who use wheelchairs or scooters get in and out of the driver╒s seat or front passenger seat.

Housed in a compact, sealed container, the Stow-Away can be affixed to the running board mounts under the vehicle. A single switch operates the unit. When activated, the container opens and the seat drawer glides out and moves up to the desired transfer height. The seat can hold a person up to 300 pounds.

Flow Control Cup

The Wedge Cup can help stroke survivors with limited strength and mobility and who have trouble swallowing.
