2010 Virtual Public Health Stroke Summit
Advocating for Change: Promoting Equitable and Quality Care for Stroke Survivors
National Stroke Association’s popular National Public Health Stroke Summit is going online in 2010!
The new web-based format will provide an opportunity for more public health professionals than ever before to participate in engaging and informative programs – increasing their knowledge about stroke. Invitations will be extended to public health administrators working at the state level as well as their peers working at local agencies and their partners who are affiliated with state-wide stroke task forces and coalitions.
This year’s Summit is entitled: Advocating for Change: Promoting Equitable and Quality Care for Stroke Survivors and will consist of a series of live webinar programs that will address a variety of topics about stroke rehabilitation and recovery. A professional networking website will also be created to provide a place for program participants to discuss the webinar topics in greater detail and to share new ideas, resources and best practices.
Please stay tuned. More information will be coming soon!
Please contact Jill Thiare at jthiare@stroke.org if you have any questions or suggestions.
