Join Our 2011 LA Marathon Team!
National Stroke Association is excited to be a 2011 participating charity in the 2011 Honda LA Marathon! Our inaugural team of 25 runners will take on 26.2 miles for stroke on March 20, 2011.
Join Us! Raise funds and awareness for stroke while racing 26.2 miles through the streets of Los Angeles, CA. RUNNER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet or exceed the fundraising minimum of $1250 (see below for reimbursement options for meeting this requirement by a specific date)
- Payment of $145 race entry fee (see below for reimbursement options)
- Coordinate and purchase all travel and hotel reservations and transportation
- Train hard and run a great race on March 20, 2011
INCENTIVES!
- Train with the LA Road Runners at a discount! Sign-up to train with the LA Road Runners when paying marathon registration fees and save $50!
- Meet the minimum fundraising requirement by December 1, 2010, and National Stroke Association will reimburse your marathon entry fee (a savings of $145).
- Raise $1500 by February 1, 2011, and National Stroke Association will reimburse both your marathon entry and LA Road Runners training fees (a savings of $240).
