3rd Annual Dance for Dignity

On the night of May 9, 2008 we hosted our 2nd Annual Dance for Dignity and again it was a great success. In this second event we were able to raise over $12,000 for National Stroke Association. That’s a 30% increase from our first year. We couldn’t have been more pleased with this.

We had a special appearance by Peter Bowles of KHOW to help us with the evening’s events. Many stroke survivors from all around Colorado joined us that night along with their friends and family to celebrate life and to show their dignity and support. Silent auction items included autographed sports and entertainment memorabilia, roundtrip tickets on Frontier Airlines and local works of art. This year our goal is to raise $15,000 for National Stroke Association to help promote community education on stroke awareness initiatives and truly make a difference for stroke survivors and everyone in our community.

We are in the early planning stages for this event and are looking for people who might be interested in being on the planning committee.  If you are interested, please contact Eric or Carol for more information.
