A Teen Stroke Survivor's Story
Tyson McClanahan
Tyson was only 17 when a major stroke left him unable to speak or walk. During his recovery he completed a college degree and completed his graduate degree in December 2005. As an athlete, Tyson used training for adventure racing to lead him back to the level of stamina, mental and spiritual reserves needed to hike, bike and kayak his way through the 2002 Hi-Tec Adventure Race. He completed his personal recovery by writing Finishing The Race. To learn more about Tyson, or purchase a copy of his book, please visit http://www.tysonbook.com/
