Caregiver & Family

I Will Never Let You Give Up

My husband had a stroke in May of 2013 on the right side.  He home and it is hard but I promise though thick and thin I will never give up on him he come so far.

When he had the stroke in May 2013 he when from the hospital to the nursing home, where I took care of him there to . I was there eight hours a day and sometimes more. I am a caregiver and now that I am taking care of my own love one it I realize it different. I will always have the love, hope, and faith. Now I need understanding, he was and carpenter and the man of the house, raise three boys and it is very hard for him. Your family and friends where are they when you need them. High blood pressure is what gave him the stroke on the right side it is hard to control, when he always worried about what he did before the stoke and can he get it back to the way he use to be. Sometime just a smile brighten his day. I am smiling but I miss the man he use to be, with his good arm around me he smile, and just for that one moment where both happy. It is a long road ahead, but I will never give up because he would never give up on me.
