Survivor
Miracle Man
I was doing well or so I thought. I didn't give a flying finagle about myself, I weighed over 300 pounds, had uncontrolled blood pressure; an accident waiting to happen. I am/was a delivery driver. I am glad this didn't happen to me while I was driving. I was at Quarters, a local eating establishment, when I went down. Thanks to the quick reaction of Jessie Griego, I maintained most of my faculties. I was taken to a local hospital and then was switched to to a nursing home. I was lucky, my health insurance under the COBRA was running out. I did some recovery at Ladera, but my Mom (bless her heart) fought for me to get into Craig Hospital. At Craig, I was put through my paces. My roommate was from here in NM and his father was very friendly. The nurse Pat Flannery didn't coddle me a bit. She was very forward in what I had to do.
