A stroke at age 41

Strokes do not age discriminate

Today marks 6 months since I suffered a stroke. I feel very blessed to have come so far and thank God every day for my recovery. I still have some struggles but in the grand scheme of things I am truly lucky. That morning I was talking like I had mashed potatoes in my mouth, rear-ended a car because I couldn't remember how to drive, and couldn't lift my left arm. I didn't think I could have a stroke at age 42 even though the signs were all there. With great hospital care and outpatient rehabs and hard work I am a survivor.

Thank you to all my family & friends for the prayers because God truly listened :)
