The devastation of Stroke on my life

I had just turned 40 a couple of months ago. My life was exactly where I wanted it to be. I finally had a job I loved, got divorced and moved into my own place in a beautiful city.  When bam!  One day as I was preparing for...

work as usual, I fell to the floor and could not get up. At the time, I couldn't understand why but it was later revealed that I had had a stroke and the entire left side of my body was paralyzed. I struggled on the floor for 3 hours before I could get to a phone to call for help!  That was surely the worst day of my life.  Things only deteriorated from there. Here I am more than six years later, still tryin to "come to grips" with the devastating effects of the stroke on my life.... TBC
