Karen S.  Healthcare Professional Karen Sacks, RN, NP, is dedicated, educated, compassionate and passionate about strokes and helping patients and their families heal. She is truly a patient advocate all over the hospital. Karen is a well spoken professional (RN and nurse practitioner) with a tremendous sized heart. She has been instrumental in initiating and implementing our hospital stroke programs. I have worked with Karen and have seen her in action. Karen has improved the lives of so many patients with her knowledge of medicine and pharmacology. She works well with MDs and RNs to promote stroke education and wellness to stroke survivors. I cannot think of any person who would be better honored by receiving this award. She has dedicated her career to helping stroke survivors. |
