My wife suffered a stroke Feb 6, 2008. She has made a remarkable recovery. She suffers from aphasia and is currently attending speech therapy at Sheltering Arms. For approximately a year, she was having seizures which we discovered were medically induced. After stopping the medication, she has been seizure free for over a year and is making great progress. We paid for therapy out of pocket for a year. Now, medicaid has started, but we have never given up hope for a full recovery. Through prayer and support, we are waiting on her healing.
