Frank L.

Caregiver & Family

My 58 year old mom, Wendy L. had a massive stroke in April 2010. Her recovery has had many ups and downs, but through it all, my family has been by her side every day. We take turns taking care of her and she is only alone at night to rest. My father, Frank L. is who I am nominating. He has taken the "until death do we part" vow very seriously and has not left her side. Mom is a work in progress, but with her family by her side, anything is possible. She is the face of today’s stroke victims. She is young and with proper advocacy, this could have been avoided.
