Sheila C.

Caregiver & Family

I had my stroke six month ago at age 57, and I am still wheelchair bound. When I fell in the bathroom, two hours after visiting the doctor, my wife, Sheila, realized it was a stroke from some of the internet information she had seen. She called 911 promptly and has been a constant helper, advocate and caregiver since then. She works and has taken time off to take me to rehab and take care, with gentleness, of my every need. She also pays the bills, works a job, deals with insurance, pills and medical supplies and helps me exercise. She is my angel.
