Peter V. C.

Survivor

Over 10 years ago, Peter suffered six strokes. He is doing well today. He has taken his experience through his trauma and learned from them to start up his own not‐for‐profit company called H.O.P.E. for Stroke. It has been in business for the last five years in Long Island, New York. This organization is made up of ALL volunteers, both survivors and caregivers, to spread awareness and continue to educate and assist others by phone, visits (home or facilities), chat rooms, newsletters and website. The organization also hosts joint caregivers and survivors meetings on a monthly basis. H.O.P.E stands for Healing On Positive Energy which is carried through all involved in this great cause.
