Survivor

Our daughter Kayleigh survived two major right hemisphere strokes at the age of seven. She had her first stroke on the school playground and the second one three days later while in the hospital. Thanks to the EMTs and the amazing Stroke Team at Swedish Hospital, Kayleigh is doing very well! She is a happy, energetic 9-year-old 4th grader! Every day, we are amazed at how well she is doing all because the people who came to her aid recognized the signs of stroke and got her the help she needed. Thank you would never be enough...
