A survivor thanks to recognizing the signs

I survived after I realized it was more than flu

I thought that my weakness was from the flu, but when my speech was slurred I had my wife call 911. It was a stroke; after an open-heart five way bypass I had another stroke. I still have paralysis in my left leg and underwent extensive rehab for physical and speech.

I still walk with a walker!
