Lillian

Survivor

Lillian is both a stroke survivor and a peer visitor at a hospital in New Hampshire. She volunteers two days a week for five hours visiting current inpatients, who have had any type of stroke, offering support, understanding and encouragement. She is an amazing woman who is very strong, motivated and caring. She has developed great relationships with patients she visits offering them hope for the future. She has been able to return to driving, traveling, cooking and working out at the gym. She is very dedicated to providing encouragement and hope to patients regarding their recovery. Last year alone, Lillian volunteered over 400 hours! She truly would be a great inspiration to many as she is an amazing stroke survivor with a powerful story.
