Survivor
The eyes know
I kept seeing a squiggly line going from the top left of my eye to the bottom corner of my left eye. I went to the doctor and he said I had a stroke.
I was out having dinner and during dinner I saw a squiggly line in my vision out of my left eye. This was not the first time that I saw that squiggly line. I then made an appointment with my doctor. He immediately had me go to the eye doctor to rule out any eye sight problems and he also scheduled an MRI of my brain. When the MRI came back it showed that there had been two brain fusions on the right side of the brain. I didn't know what that was but the doctor said that I'd had a TIA stroke. This was all due to having a cholesterol level of 439, and I also smoked.
I was only 42 years old when I had my stroke. That was six years ago and I am doing okay. Since then I have taken control of my body. I have quit smoking and have lowered my cholesterol.
