Survivor

December 14th, 2002

I had my stroke on 12/14/2002. It effected my balance and the sight in my left eye (which went black for about 10 minutes a week before) leaving a blink spot in the center and the eye blurry. I couldn't eat for 3 years and was on a feeding tube, but I now eat on my left side (I cough if food goes to the right). I walk with a rollator and am Diabetic (I'm in a study).

This is a "Mini-Resume" of my experience.

EDUCATION:

I have a BS in Chemical Engineering - specializing in Process Control.
I have an MS in Computer Science - specializing in Systems, Compilers, and Artificial Intelligence.

WORK:

I retired from DuPont as a Senior Process Control Engineer after 25 years.
I retired from EDS as a Project Manager/Senior Process Control Engineer supporting Bethlehem Steel after 10 years.
