Frederick Richard S.  Survivor “My stroke occurred in 1986. I have learned that although I am slower in mental capacity, I don't give up. I keep trying to say what I want to say. I have been president of the stroke club for three years. We go out once monthly to a restaurant and do activities such as visiting each other's churches and visiting museums. I have a caregiver and a very supportive wife.” The above are Fred's words. As his friend, I can say that he has become more patient and his willingness to keep trying to do what he wants to do is an inspiration for all who know him. |
