Mark B.  Survivor This past year, Mark experienced a stroke. His stroke left him paralyzed and with speech, mobility and independence deficits as strokes often do. Mark is an inspiration, displaying courage and motivation. I have had the distinct pleasure of watching this remarkable young man step into his experience with purpose, passion and the desire to enlighten others about strokes in young people. He is a voice and force of change to this life altering experience, from what happens to the patient to how it impacts the family. I have known Mark for years and am delighted to be a witness to such a magnificent soul with so much determination. Mark is an unstoppable force, who is a light bearer, illuminating the journey for so many. All those who encounter this divine being are better after doing so. |
