Spencer E.

Caregiver and Support Group Leader

Spencer's wife had a stroke; he was her caregiver. We have a support group that was originally run by Sutter Neuroscience Institute. The support group still exists, but Spencer has taken over the leadership. We also have an annual stroke camp. The last two years, Spencer has taken that on as well. He works tirelessly with his wife, Arleen, in tow to make the group and camp successful. They, with other members of the support group, do several benefits during the year to make sure that those who cannot afford to go to camp can go. He is passionate and focused, and it is just a pleasure to work with him.
