Billy A.  Survivor My husband is a stroke survivor. He suffered three strokes in one day, three and a half years ago. His whole left side was paralyzed. Now he can walk all around the house, however he still can't walk for too long. He takes his own shower, and dresses himself. He drives himself to a gym three to four times a week and goes to acupuncture weekly. The use of his left arm and shoulder may never return, but he keeps on going. He goes boating on his own boat with family and friends. He goes out to dinner or bowling to socialize and play games. He also has friends over daily. I'm sure he came this far because of all the support from all the people around him. He has a positive outlook, and a great smile on his face. His whole attitude has been remarkable. |
