Alfred B.

Caregiver and Family

Alfred B. is my husband and my caregiver. On September 19, 2010 we lost our 29-year-old daughter-in-law who died from complications after giving birth to our sixth grandson. In addition to caring for our 7-month-old granddaughter, Alfred began taking care of our 6-week-old grandson when our son had to return back to work. He takes me to all medical and other appointments. This entails putting my rollator or wheel chair, medicine bag, purse, two car seats and two diaper bags in the car. And he picks up our 5 and 6-year-old grandsons from school daily just like their mommy used to do. My husband is an angel sent from God. My mobility is limited. Alfred does it all.
