I am 52 and have suffered two minor strokes. Being an Army Veteran, and physically active my entire life, I didn't think it was possible for me to have a stroke. I thought it only happened to people that were not physically active. The strokes left me with limited use of my left foot and hand. My family would no longer allow me to live alone.
