Ruth A.

Survivor

I am fortunate to be alive, due to the quick response of my husband who recognized the signs of stroke. We were playing tennis when he noticed my face and left side beginning to droop. His quick call to 911 saved my life. I still struggle with the challenges of left sided weakness, but I am back to work, driving, walking my dog, and loving life. I would love to teach others the warning signs of stroke. I am currently working as a community outreach liaison for Vitas hospice.
