Survivor

I had a thalamic stroke at 46 that has left my right side basically paralyzed. I can walk short distances with a cane, but have no use of my arm or hand. I had a choice, get going or sit and be miserable. I got going! I've taught myself to write left handed and I have found ways to get around my loss. I can make deviled eggs and I have even gotten back on our Harley as a passenger, and we have logged over 10,0000 miles. There is life after a stroke, but you have to want it.
