I had my stroke in Montana, the day after my nephew's wedding at Glacier National Park. I received TPA within a three hour window, but it did not work. I spent a month in rehab, my goal being to recover for my own son's wedding on New Years Eve.  Although I am still significantly disabled, I was able to return to work, (I am an RN for the county board of developmental disabilities) and walk down the aisle and dance with my son at his wedding.
